She participated in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at Framingham State University, where she completed her dietetic internship and became a registered dietitian nutritionist.

Ulrik completed his bachelor’s in Nutrition Science at Utah State University. His undergraduate research focused on bacterial mitotic activity in dairy products. Also, he researched the impact of methyl vitamin consumption in the maternal diet and the effects on offspring phenotypes.
